  1. I’m thinking about coming down from newcastle would there be anywhere to crash? I’ll bring a sleeping bag!

    • Hi Hedgey, we haven’t organised any crash space unfortunately and this moderators house is already full of women staying the night! But I guess you could always ask around when you get here? Sorry not to be more helpfu

        shy bairns get nowt

  2. Hi Thanks for organising this event – I’m sorry I’ll have to miss it- visiting my mother – caring for friends and relatives, and getting older, are potential workshop topics for another one. for some of us, eh???.
I’d have liked to bring a display and info about the Womens Holiday Centre- ‘Horton’ up in the Dales- set up as part of the womens liberation movement in the early 80’s and still there for holidays, workshops etc.

Is it ok to post some leaflets through?- I’ve rung the Meeting House and they say they’re happy to pass mail along to the organisers, if someone could put them on a table? It would be good to spread the word – it needs using more if its going to keep being there! Special midweek rates- when its nice and quiet!. For access details please see the website -hortonwhc.wordpress.com/. Currently born women only, and children, are welcome. Its a charitable co-op and has a sliding scale of charges to keep it as accessible, finacnially, as possible. All the best for a great day on saturday!
